There's No Place Like Home

Presently, we travel about 6 to 7 months out of the year. I love seeing new places, especially along the coastlines. We just returned home a few days ago, and I'm so happy to be home. Home at last! But now my home is a mess. ha! Stacks and stacks of stuff to put away. But......ask me about my bed!?! I was longing for my bed for many, many months. The most comfortable ever! Ahhh....it's nice to be back. THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!
I'm a bead embroidery jewelry designer, and I've been doing everything else BUT hand stitching! I need to be beading for my Etsy challenge. Perhaps the mess will have to wait. I'll try to post a pic of some of the places we travel. Hope you enjoy.

My First Blog Post

Well, I never thought this day would come. Having a blog, I mean. It took a year of my son telling me that I need to get on Facebook before I made any effort to do so. Sure, all these devices are great but so time consuming. I'd rather be stitching bead embroidery jewelry. Know what I mean? It's right up there with, I'd rather be making some money, honey! I know absolutely nothing about how to set up a blog, but I'll try to learn. I love reading other beading artists blogs but that's time consuming too. So many talented people in this world and just not enough time to do everything and read everything you want.

Well, I never thought this day would come. Having a blog, I mean. It took a year of my son saying, "Mom, you need to get on Facebook", before I actually was active in doing so.
